Kempo Karate students who are eligible for their next belt rank are referred by our Chief Instructor, 5th degree Kempo Karate Master Bill Hackett  for testing with 8th degree Kempo Karate Master Brian Hanson. Belt tests for the ranks of yellow through blue stripe are conducted for all students, at Georgetown Martial Arts Center once every two months, usually on the second Wednesday of the month (See testing schedule below for a list of test dates for 2009). Youth students are also tested in Georgetown for advanced ranks (green belt through 3rd degree brown).

Advanced belt tests for our adult and junior adult students are conducted at the Academy of Kempo Martial Arts.  Address is 7184 Main St. Trumbull Ct. 06611.  Phone # (203)452-1665 once every two months. Tests for the ranks of Junior Black Belt, Shodan, and advanced degrees of Black Belt, are also conducted at the Academy of Kempo Martial Arts, two to three times per year.
