Grandmaster Tak led our first annual Chinese New Year celebration with a traditional lion dance
Grandmaster Tak taught instructors, students, family and friends of Georgetown Martial Arts Center how to celebrate Chinese New Year with traditional lion dances, a parade, ceremonial lettuce-eating, and blessings of local businesses.

Grandmaster Tak presented two child-sized lion costumes to the Center as a New Year's gift. Several Georgetown students were invited to participate in the festivities.
Following the lion dances and blessings, the crowd was treated to performances by several area martial arts schools, including our own Demo Team. See photos.
After the festivities, Grandmaster Tak conducted a Kung Fu clinic on the Five Flower Form
